![]() One of my absolute favorite places is the Parish Cafe on Boylston, which serves gourmet sandwiches and salads and has a huge beer list, it's wonderful. Montien is a sushi/Thai place, which again, I've never tried, but about which I've heard nothing but great things. There's also Maggiano's for Italian, which I've seen recommended many times here, but I've never been myself. Chang's, which is a great, non-authentic, gourmet Chinese place, upscale atmosphere. Staying inside the Theatre District, you're very close to P.F. I'm not a Chinatown expert, but I've read recommendations for Peach Farm, Grand Chau Chow, China Pearl and Penang, among others. In the Theatre District, you're just outside of Chinatown. In Downtown Crossing, there's an Italian place called Marliave that serves very good, inexpensive Italian in an elegant setting - it was a favorite of Governor Cellucci. ![]() If you don't mind spending serious money, Spire in the Nine Zero Hotel very close to Scollay Square is supposed to be fantastic. If you’re looking for a desktop alternative to Quicken for Mac, it’s an excellent choice. I've also heard wonderful things about Scollay Square and can't wait to try it, and it's not a bad walk at all from the Opera House. Moneyspire 2023 is a well-organized and effective personal finance application for Mac and PC. NKB, I think it really depends on what you're looking for. Have a great time I'm sure you'll get a few more suggestions here for this one! You got tickets for it you lucky thing! We tried and it was sold out. ![]() That's what my friends and I would do if we were in town trying to figure out where to have dinner after that show! You're getting out from the Show at a good time to walk down that way, it wouldn't be a far walk at all.Īnother place-if it's too crowded at Houston's we want to try is that Scollay Square Restaurant at 21 Beacon St., and from the Opera House you just go right up to Park St then up on to Beacon St., near the Omni Parker House it's not even a 10 minute walk to get up through there. The details of Moneyspire’s free trial have not been shared by the vendor. It has different pricing plans: Standard : 29.99/One Time. If we were at the Opera House we'd either walk up to that Tremont 647 because we're so curious about it and would want to try it or we'd walk down around the Quincy Market and go to Houston's at 60 State St., that's consistent and a fun place to go, we like the food there. The starting price of Moneyspire is 29.99/One Time. My friends in town are saying that that West Street Grill is good for the lunch crew that it gets crazy late at night with a younger age group because it's a club as well, so that's OUT now for us too! If I were in town during the day I might try it for lunch that's about it, if we were up near that area again.
