Being a 3-star Michelin restaurant they should have held the dish until I’m back instead of rushing me (especially when I needed to use bathroom). Between pasta and main dish I wanted to use the bathroom, they have only one toilet and some one was in there so they told me to wait on the sofa outside (the host was nice trying to keep me accompany and chatted with me), then some one came from the kitchen and told me that I should go back to the table because main dish is coming. As soon as I sat down the manager came and asked “does you son have to work late?” I don’t know where he got the “son” idea but I’m in my 30s I hope I don’t look like I have a son who’s probably in his 20s and has to work late, even if I do it’s not something polite to sayģ. My friend had to fly out early so I changed reservation from 2 persons to. I reserved 2 bottles of wine prior but the somm sold one of them (the last bottle) to someone elseĢ. Overall not bad but there were some glitches:ġ. When these kind of restaurants get 3 Stars, Michelin really opens themselves up for questioning. I hate to say but I really can't recommend this restaurant. We had a tasting menu and some wines, the bill was quite high and so not worth it. All of us were disappointed and actually frustrated that we spent so much time and money for such an experience. None of us understood the food concept and we are all well traveled and we all frequent good restaurants. Compare that to a 3 Star Robuchon - again night and day. The food was not Italian from our perspective, it was typical boring fine dining food, small portions, neither presentation nor flavor nor ingredients blew us away. We had a great wine waiter though, fantastic guy with a good sense of humour, he made our night when everything else was a let down. The service team is very proud and knowledgeable, service is very stiff, food takes a while to come. It is a quite small restaurant with a very intimidating atmosphere, everybody talks very quietly, actually there is no atmosphere, the place feels quite uninspiring and dead. day before, these two restaurants are light night and day, with DaVittorio being absolutely amazing and this restaurant a complete let down. when we visited it had 2 Stars, now 3 Stars, a complete mystery to me how this restaurant can get so many stars. Visiting Michelin Star restaurants quite frequently this restaurant put doubts in my mind how Michelin awards stars. (Setting cutlery, plates at the same time)ģ) They were all very knowledgeable on all the dishes More It ended up being 14-15 courses in the end.ģ) Everything was so delicious, I don't know what more to say! It was just perfect.ġ) You can tell their staff has had extensive training as they are all in sync with one another. He was super kind and this definitely was a nice touch!ġ) Absolutely phenomenal the plating, taste, and presentationĢ) We had the 10 course tasting menu and it was more than enough. This was my first time dining at a 3 Michelin Star, and the experience was perfect and I hope to return one day!ġ) Love the decor, it feels chic and modern.ģ) I can't speak for everyone but I would have appreciated some music, it was extremely quiet, and made me hesitant to speakĤ) Enrico himself came out to thank all the tables, and we got to chat with him briefly.
